It is so sad to lose the last of the Henry sisters. What a great group of women! Donnie had such a quick wit and was a true joy to be around. She was amazing at remembering names, birthdays, and other pieces of information about people. How she kept all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren straight is beyond me. She also had some interesting abilities - I am still amazed by her ability to write names backwards. She had a wonderful life and left her mark. Condolences to the Strehle clan, and particularly to my cousins Greg, Jane, and Ann.

It was a blessing to have known Darlene my entire life, and as an adult, to hear all about her, her children and many grand and great grandchildren from my mother. I always loved the photo of her dressed as the Easter bunny, and Mom & I referred to her as the Energizer bunny 🙂 Prayers of comfort for the family, I'm so sorry for the loss and so grateful to have known such a remarkable woman! Dear Strehle Clan, Darlene was surely one of the Great Ones!! She honored our every accomplishments, always made us smile. Growing up she was…everywhere! In the last decade she hosted our family along with Dick and Jane Moodie for their inimitable fabulous meal at the the Moodies. We feel privileged to have known her and express our heartfelt condolences for your loss. She lived a “life well-lived”!! We feel privileged to have known both your parents and all their incredible cohort in West Point.

We wish to extend our deepest condolences to all the family members. Your mother/grandmother was a light for her family and community. Be comforted by knowing the sort of person she was, the life she led and the good she accomplished. Peace to all.

We are sorry that we can't attend Darlene's Funeral. We are in Arizona and not able to leave until next week. Darlene, was such a good friend to LaDonna and me. It was my good fortune that Darlene was available to become a Real Estate Agent when her job with Sen Hasebroock finished. Darlene, was a natural selling Real Estate. She had many outstanding qualities, such as remembering names, even telephone numbers. She knew almost everyone in the area and had a easy way of visiting with people. Her quick wit was so much fun. We very much appreciate and are Thankful for our time with her.
