Daniel J. Coggins, 53, of West Point, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home.

Daniel J. Coggins was born on November 30, 1967 to Norman and Barbara (Lee) Coggins in Denver, CO.  Growing up in Denver, he worked in the family construction business.  On July 16, 1994, Danny married Christine Hultgren in Littleton, CO.  The couple moved to West Point in 2016 where he worked at West Point Chevrolet and Gerhold Concrete Company.

Danny was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and 4-wheeling surrounded by the beauty of nature.  His love of remote-controlled cars and airplanes was evident through his expansive collection of them.

Danny is survived by his wife, Christine, of West Point; father, Norman; and siblings, Larry Coggins, Karen Matoush, and Colleen Staebell.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara.
