Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery with military honors graveside. Public Wake with Knights of Columbus Rosary will be 7:00 pm. Monday at Stokely Funeral Home. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so 9:00 am. until 6:00 pm. Monday at Stokely Funeral Home. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Cletus was born July 30, 1922 at West Point to Joseph and Theresa Knievel Oligschlaeger. After the death of his mother, he was raised by his aunt Mary Oligschlaeger. He graduated from Guardian Angels Catholic School with the class of 1939. From November of 1942 until March of 1946, he served in the US Army working as a mechanic on B-24 Bombers stationed in Liberal, Kansas. Cletus worked as a Construction Superintendent for John Hespe Construction out of Norfolk retiring in the early 1990’s. Cletus was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed car racing and motor cycles. Survivors include cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother William.
