Clara Helena Becker, 103, of West Point died February 5, 2006 at the West Point Living Center. Services will be 10:30 am. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran with Reverend Carl Kramer officiating. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm. Wednesday at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Tuesday at Stokely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. She was baptized and confirmed in the Danish Church in West Point. She attended country School. On August 17, 1926 she married Herman Becker. The couple spent most of their married life on the farm, where Clara enjoyed helping the neighbors and doing house work. They retired to West Point in 1973. Clara moved to the West Point Living Center in 1998. Clara was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include a daughter Dolores Gale of Long Beach, California, grandchildren Steven and Catherine Gale. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman, in 1988, son, Milan, in 1955 and two sisters.
