Camilla Ann Westermann, 80, of West Point, died Monday, March 10, 2008 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant. Guild and Christian Mothers Rosary will be 1:30 pm. Wednesday and Public Wake services will be 6:30 pm. Wednesday both at Stokely Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice or Guardian Angels Endowment. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Camilla was born August 9, 1927 on the family farm north of Snyder in Cuming County to Harry and Gertrude Lennemann Hoetfelker. She attended grade school at St. Leo’s Catholic School in Snyder and was a 1946 graduate of West Point Public High School. Camilla taught country school at Dist. #29 in Dodge County and Dist #51 in Cuming County. On August 17, 1949, she married Denis Westermann at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Snyder. The couple farmed south of Snyder, retiring to West Point in November of 1996. Camilla was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Guild and Christian Mothers. She worked on the election board in Dodge County Ridgeley Township. Camilla volunteered at the West Point Living Center, fixing hair and sewing. She enjoyed playing cards. Camilla loved being a grandmother, reading to the grandkids and playing Old Maid. Survivors include her husband, Denis, of West Point, daughtersJoDene (Norm) Jedlicka of Norfolk and Lois (Mike) Oligmueller of West Point, sons; Allen (Carla) of Glenwood Springs, CO, Ronald (Jodi) of Scribner, David (Linda) of Columbus and Marvin (Jean) of Maplewood, MN, sisters; Elmira Merral of Wahoo, Marlene (Charles) Parrish of Las Vegas, NV and Oneva (Wendelin) Lummel of Bridgeport, sister in law Connie Hoetfelker of Fremont, and an aunt, Marguerite Martinek of West Point, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Leigh Hoetfelker
