Brian Ernesti, 47, of rural Dodge, died Saturday, September 13, 2014at his home. Memorial Mass will be 10:30am Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Aloys with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Wake Service will be 7:00pm Monday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point with visitation from 9:00am to 7:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Aloysius Cemetery. Lunch will be served at the Nielsen Community Center in West Point following the burial. Brian Joseph Ernesti was born August 30, 1967 in West Point to Richard and Gertrude (Franzluebbers) Ernesti. He grew up on the family farm west of Aloys attended Pebble Valley Catholic School, graduated from Howells High School in 1985, and completed a Mechanics program at North East Community College at Norfolk. Brian worked various jobs in the area. Brian enjoyed stock car races, John Wayne movies and spending time with his familyBrian was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Survivors include brother Don (Wendy) Ernesti of Wisner, NE; sisters Donna (Kurt) Brester of Dodge, Diane (Marvin) Ulrich of West Point, and Bonnie Kluthe of Kearney; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Gertrude in 2011 and Richard in 2012, niece Jenna Ulrich, grandparents Ben and Catherine Franzluebbers and Joe and Mary Ernesti.
