She graduated from West Point Central Catholic High School in 1966. Knowing that there would never be a dull moment, she married John Brodie on April 17, 1971. Shortly after, they moved to Irwin, IA where they owned a bar and threw the best parties in town. They later moved back to Omaha before eventually moving to Wooster, OH. Eileen worked 25 years as a computer programmer for the city of Wooster. She was loved by all she worked with and remembered for her infectious laugh that could be heard around the office. In their retirement, John and Eileen moved to Moab, UT where they enjoyed the red rocks, beautiful arches, and canyons. Eileen was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Known for her warmth and care, she always put others first and shared her positive spirit with all she encountered. She faced cancer with a smile, never complaining as she endured two years of chemotherapy. She loved to laugh over a glass of wine with her friends, sisters, and family. She also loved the national parks; her family fondly remembers trips and hikes in the national parks throughout the West. Eileen is survived by her husband, John Brodie; daughters, Jenny and Stephanie Brodie; siblings, Loretta (Arnold) Baker, Warren (Becky) Renner, Bob (Joleen) Renner, Cindy Schlecht, Mary Renner, and Nancy (Roy) Hunter; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
