Frances Friis

Frances H. Friis, 100, of Oakland died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Oakland Heights Nursing Home. Private services will be held with burial at Oakland Cemetery. Stokely Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by son Clayton P. Friis of Omaha; daughter Lauralee (George) Jackson of Pottstown, PA; two grandchildren, Christina Friis and Connor Friis; two sisters Claire Johnson of Fort Worth, TX and Joy Geiner of Humble, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maxell, in 1989. Memorials may be made to Oakland Heights Memorial Scholarship Fund for Nursing.
