Kendal G. Diers, 78, of West Point, died Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at the Eagles Club in West Point. Memorials may be directed to family for future designation. Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home Kendal G. Diers was born to Linina Diers Reiman on August 5,1945 in West Point and was raised by his grandparents on the family farm near Crowell. He graduated from West Point Public High School in 1964. For over four decades, Kendal devoted himself to D & S Tire, where his work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. His dedication to his profession was evident in every task he undertook. As a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3623, Kendal played an active role, serving as secretary. In his leisure time, Kendal found joy in a variety of activities that brought him closer to nature and fueled his adventurous spirit. He was an avid bowler and had a passion for riding motorcycles. Kendal’s love for the outdoors extended to his enjoyment of boating, where he enjoyed the tranquility of the water and the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Whether casting a line or simply soaking up the sunshine, he found solace and contentment in the company of family and friends. Kendal also cherished the time spent with his beloved grandchildren. Kendal is survived by his son, Robin (Teresa) Diers of Marion, IA; grandchildren, Troy Eden, Kadin, Trevin, and Revee Diers; and sister, Josephine Reiman of Papillion. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linina; son, Dustin Brown; and brother, Larry. |
