William Simon Linnenbrink, 71, of West Point died January 12, 2005 at the West Point Living Center. Simon was born March 16, 1933 at Bland, Missouri to William and Kathryn Seeman Linnenbrink. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Bland High School in 1951. Simon served in the US Navy and worked as a laborer in a charcoal plant. After the death of his mother in the early 1990’s he moved to West Point. Survivors include sisters Josephine Marquart and Joyce (David) Monzyke both of Washington, MO, brothers Paul (Anita) of Florence, KY and Robert of Booneville, MO, sister-in-laws Rosie Linnenbrink of West Point and Omerline Linnenbrink of Fairview, TN. He is preceded in death by brothers Edwin and Ray, his parents and brother-in-law Paul Marquart. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Wake services will be 7:00 pm. Friday at Stokely Funeral Chapel.
