Scott P. Hicks, 31, “Scottie too Hottie” of Muskogee, Oklahoma, was called to his heavenly home, October 27, 2011 from his home in Muskogee, to be with the Lord and his father, Ronnie J. Hicks. Scott was born November 23, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ronnie and Helen (Wilson) Hicks. Scott attended Erie Mason High School in Erie, Michigan. Scott took great pride in his work as a Union brick layer and when doing traveling construction. Scott grew up in and was a member of Monroe Full Gospel Church in Monroe Michigan. He loved fishing, music, playing basketball, his dogs, teasing his sisters, and visiting with the elderly. Scott was always trying to help others. He loved the Lord and would call out to Him in all things. Scott’s caring ways and wonderful smile will be missed. Survivors include his mother and step father, Helen and Levi Webb of West Point, NE, his children Taylor Hicks of Monroe, Michigan, and Lanedan of Deer River Minnesota, sisters Stacy Finn of Lincoln, NE, Christina (John) Barrera and Teasha (Billy) Hoffman all of Toledo, OH, nieces Ronnie and Haley, nephews Scottie (his namesake), Johnie and Brody, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie, April 8, 2003, his grandparents Hicks and Wilson, and a step brother Matt Webb. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Monroe, MI at the Full Gospel Church. Scott will be buried with his father at Pleasant View Cemetery in Petersburg, MI.
