Paul “Pete” Timm, Jr., 77, of West Point, died September 14, 2004 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Paul was born August 25, 1927 at Arlington to Paul and Emma Lambrecht Timm, Sr. He attended schools at Telbasta and Fontanelle. On May 4, 1947 he married Kathryn Hofeldt at Salem Lutheran Church at Fontanelle. The couple farmed near Arlington until moving to their current farm south of West Point in 1973. Paul was a frequent vendor at Omaha and Fremont Farmer’s Markets where he was well known for his home grown produce. He enjoyed participating in area Tractor Pulls, was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his passion was his family and supporting them in all of their activities. Paul was a member of Trinity Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn, of West Point, son Steve of West Point, daughters Nancy (Tom) Cady of Blair, Debbie (Al) Larsen and Pam Timm both of Omaha, LuAnn (Ray) Burgess of The Woodlands, TX, brothers August (Barbara) and Frank (Elaine) Timm both of Nickerson, sisters MaryAnn Hetrick and Alice Clausen both of Fremont, and Lois (Dana) Palmer of Hooper, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, grandchildren Tyler Timm and Mandy Larsen. Services will be 10:30 am. Friday at Trinity Church in West Point with Reverend J. C. Browne officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm. Friday at Arlington Cemetery at Arlington. Memorials may be made to Trinity Church or Cuming County Fair Foundation. Visitation will be 10:00 am. until 8:30 pm. with family receiving friends 6:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. at Stalp/Stokely Funeral Home in West Point which is in charge of arrangements.
