Mary Baumert

Mary is one of my favorite people! We got to grow up side-by-side with the Baumert family and consider each of the Baumerts as siblings and forever friends. I loved seeing Mary! She always was welcoming and as always, made me laugh with her great sense of humor! We were one of the lucky groups who received the Christmas cinnamon bread and would always try to save it for ourselves! Love to all of the Baumert family. Mary made a positive impact on everyone she met and will be missed dearly.

Mary was the sweetest and kindest person I have known. She was so patient and quick with a word of encouragement or a sympathetic pat on your shoulder. Truly a woman of God with a strong faith who lived her life in service to her family and her church. I admire her so much, and even though I haven't seen her for awhile, she was always in my thoughts and prayers. Her bread making skills inspired me to begin making bread myself and I would send Andy pictures of my final product to show Mary and get her honest assessment. Regardless of what she said, I knew it could never measure up to her quality!! I will miss her greatly..... Gary Steinke and family.
