Maria Leonard Hensel, 5 months, daughter of BreAnn Leonard and Todd Hensel, finished her battle of medical complications September 20, 2011 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. Funeral Services will be 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pender with Reverend Miles Ruch, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in West Point. There will be no visitation. Maria Annette was born March 28, 2011 in Norfolk, and was baptized the following day. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, BreAnn and Todd, grandparents Roger and Deb Leonard of Pender, Kurt and Linda Hensel of West Point, great grandparents Bob and Marilyn Leonard of Pender, Bill and Elaine Greve of Wakefield, Jerry and Betty Siemek of Fremont and Donna Hensel of West Point, Great Great grandmother Mick Thomsen of Wakefield, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her great grandfather Hyle Hensel.
