Lucille Meta Kindschuh, 88, of West Point, died February 14, 2008 at West Point Living Center. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm. Saturday February 16, 2008 at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Chris Meyer officiating. Memorial visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Friday with family present 4:00 to 6:00 pm. at Stokely Funeral Home. Burial will occur at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Lucille was born December 22, 1919 at West Point to Paul and Lucy Benne Poledna. She grew up on the farm north of West Point and attended West Point Public School. On August 19, 1947 she married Martin Kindschuh at Grace Lutheran Church. The couple ran Kindshcuh Corner in West Point. Following their 1974 divorce, Lucille worked at IBP and with the Green Thumb program at the public schools. Lucille has lived at West Point Living Center since December 2003. Lucille was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a Charter member of the VFW auxiliary. Survivors include her daughter, Mardell (Shep) Schademann of West Point, brother Dennis (Lucille) Poledna of Omaha, sister Loraine Dickey of Spencer, granddaughter Tina (Darin) Denton, great grandchildren Page, Jordan, Brooke, and Dillon Denton. She is preceded in death by a son Clark in 1970, brothers Melvin and Levi Poledna and her ex-husband.
