Diane Ludwig, 65, of Lyons, formerly of West Point, died Friday, November 23, 2012, at West Point Living Center. Stokely Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point with Reverend Richard Bringewatt officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until 8:00 pm. Monday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point. Memorials may be made to Hearts and Hands. Diane was born September 29, 1947 at West Point to Edwin and Adelia Meier Ludwig. Diane lived with her parents in West Point until moving to Lyons with North Star in 1980. Diane worked cleaning the Lyons Police Department and was the City of Lyons longest tenured employee. Diane enjoyed living independently, receiving mail, working puzzles, attending potlucks, socializing and playing Bingo. Her favorite time of year was the Holidays, especially Christmas. Survivors include friends Sarah and Brad Scoles of Oakland, and Shirley Schlueter of West Point, everyone from North Star, Cousins Audrey Maack and Ivalo White both of West Point and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents.
