Cheryle Norquist, 80, formerly of West Point, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Colonial Haven in Beemer. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 8 at 10:00am at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point, with an interment at Salem Cemetery in rural Burt County at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:00am prior to the service. The funeral will be live streamed on the Stokely Funeral Home Facebook page at facebook.com/stokelyfuneralhome. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a charitable donation be made in Cheryle’s name to the memorial fund.
Cheryle (Landholm) Norquist was born and raised in West Point to Glenn and Ruth (Wiegert) Landholm. Cheryle was a long term resident of West Point and Omaha.
Cheryle is survived by her children Stanley Harris and Dorothy (Harris) Nelson, her step-sons and daughters, Lee and Scott Norquist, Michele Sharon and Diana Alvis, and her Niece Gina Landholm, along with several grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Delano Norquist, daughter Diana (Harris) Petersen, sister Gloria Landholm, step-daughter Annette (Norquist) Strong and parents.
