Lynn Rae Beckenhauer, 76, of Los Angeles, CA, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Dignity Health California Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral service at 2:00pm on Friday, June 28th at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Priscilla Hukki as officiant. Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church before the service. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery immediately after the service with light refreshments following the church hall. Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home. Lynn Rae Beckenhauer was born September 11, 1942 in West Point to Charles and Blanche (Sommermeyer) Beckenhauer. She graduated from West Point High School in 1960, then received a nursing degree from Bishop Clarkson nursing school in 1963. On March 17, 1964, Lynn married Gerald Wolf. The couple had two sons, David and Darin Wolf. Lynn started her nursing career at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. She continued her nursing career and raised her two sons in Boston, MA and Ralston, NE. She settled in Los Angeles, CA. Lynn enjoyed painting, playing the piano, playing bridge, and soaking up the California sunshine. She dearly loved her sons, parents, and sisters. She is survived by her sons David Wolf of Boston, MA, and Darin Wolf of New York, NY; grandchildren Marissa Wolf, Nate Wolf, Nicolas Wolf, and Elliot Wolf; and sisters Margaret Sindelar, and Suzanne Yelkin, and many nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Beckenhauer of West Point, and Blanche Beckenhauer of Scribner.
