Wilma helped with 4-H, volunteered at St. Joseph’s Retirement Community, and knitted over 1000 caps for babies in the prenatal unit. She also enjoyed quilting, reading and baking. Survivors include her children, Sharon (Tom) Rief and Steven (Karen) Throener both of West Point, and Mark (Cindy) Throener of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Delmer (Bev) Hamdorf of Morrison, CO; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Michael and John (infancy); great-granddaughter, Emily Schrad; great-grandson, William Throener (infancy); and 4 siblings.
