Lee W. Clark, 89, of West Point, died on June 15, 2018 at Gateway Vista Skilled Nursing in Lincoln. Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 20 at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Carl Kramer as officiant. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery with lunch following at the church hall. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to the Nebraska Children’s Home. Stokely Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Lee Winston Clark was born October 20, 1928 at Des Moines, IA to Benjamin Franklin and Myrtle Ostrander Clark. He grew up in the Earlham, IA area and graduated from Preston, MN high school. After high school, Lee served in the US Army Reserve and attended Wayne State College. On July 16, 1950, Lee married Ursula Huntemann at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. In the early years, Lee worked with his family in the Clark Hybrid Seed Company at Uehling. The couple moved to Illinois where he spent many years working for Caterpillar. Upon moving back to Nebraska, they opened ; our Own Hardware; store in West Point in 1986. Lee was a member of Grace Lutheran church where he served on the council. He was a very active member of the Lions club in Sandwich, IL. Lee was a Master Mason and will be remembered for his love of family and his fondness of cats. Survivors include his wife, Ursula of West Point; daughters, Elizabeth (Lynn) Wilson of Lincoln and Sharon (Ken) Nielsen of Ankeny, IA; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters
