Lola Wooldrik, 81, of West Point, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Faith Regional Health Center in Norfolk. Funeral services will be 10:30am on Friday, November 17 at St. John’s Lutheran Church on the Cuming County line with Vicar Bob Ball as officiant. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery with lunch following at the church hall. Visitation with family receiving friends will be 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point. Memorials may be made to the St. John’s Cemetery. Stokely Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Lola Mae Wooldrik was born on April 7, 1936 to Ernest and Emma (Gentele) Camin in Dodge. Lola attended school at Dodge, Immanuel Lutheran School near Beemer, and St. Paul Lutheran School in West Point before graduating from West Point Public High School in 1954. After high school, she worked various jobs including Tony’s Food Market and Rabbass Photography Studio. On November 15, 1959, Lola married Ervin Wooldrik at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point. The couple farmed southeast of West Point where Lola could be found milking cows and doing other chores. Lola was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, former church council member, and sang in the church choir. She was a Woman of the ELCA, taught Sunday school, and was on the Cuming Township Election Board. Lola had many hobbies including bowling and attending Husker football games including 45+ consecutive years on the Scribner Football bus tour. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s activities and was a proud Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejay supporter. Survivors include her husband, Ervin, of West Point; sons, Craig (Wendy) and Chris (Jane) both of West Point; daughter, Shelly (Ernie) Stockamp of Scribner; grandchildren, Megan (Mike) Heiser, Christopher Wooldrik and Anthony Wooldrik, and Colin, Macey, Ethan, and Isaac Wooldrik; sisters, Barbara Schochenmaier of Bellevue, Janice (Gary) York Engelbart of Missouri Valley, IA, Beverly DeHaan of Beecher, IL, and Susan K. Camin of Beecher, IL; and sister-in-law, Barbara Camin of West Point. Lola was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene Toelle; brothers, Verlin and Robert; and brothers-in-law, Ferdinand Toelle, James York, Raymond Schochenmaier, and Kenneth DeHaan.
