Clara C. Dvorak, age 80, of Dodge, died Friday, February 6, 2015, at Parkview Home in Dodge. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Monday February 9, 2015 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with Reverend An Duy Phan as celebrant. Burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Visitation 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday with First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Rosary at 3:00 pm and Wake services at 7:00 pm all at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or School. Stokely Funeral Home in Dodge in charge of arrangements. Clara Caroline Reisdorff was born April 8, 1934 to Earl and Agnes (Kozisek) Reisdorff at David City where she attended St. Mary’s Catholic grade school and graduated from David City High School in 1952. On July 30, 1966, Clara married Herman E. Dvorak at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in David City. The couple resided on the farm 5 1/2 miles northwest of Dodge in Cuming County. She had been employed at the Egg Plant in David City, Schweser’s, Howells Poultry Processing, and Parkview Nursing Home. They moved into Dodge in 1997, and Clara resided at Parkview since 2013. Clara was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Altar Society, Christian Mothers, First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, and Neighborhood Card Club. She was a Cuming County 4-H leader and bowled. Her pastimes included knitting, reading, cooking, baking, gardening and garage sale bargain hunting. Survivors include her husband, Herman E. Dvorak of Dodge; daughter Teresa (Tom) Arens of Hartington; sons Paul (Nancy) of Dodge, and Roger (Kim) of Norfolk; grandchildren Reid and Breanna Arens, Grace, Charles, Sophia and Henry Dvorak, and Christopher and Cameron Dvorak, sisters-in-law Sharon Reisdorff of David City, Sr. Irene Dvorak of Omaha, and Martha (Jerry) Minchow of Davey; brother-in-law Fr.
