Justina spent her youth experiencing farm life and attending school at Olean's Sacred Heart Academy. Sacred Heart Catholic Church was the setting on May 5, 1953 for her marriage to Robert Fredrick Miller. The couple immediately setup farming and housekeeping then raising their family on the farm north west of Dodge. In 1984 they moved into Dodge, where Justina kept busy working at the Merry Martini and Parkview Home. With her beloved polka music playing in the background, Justina finally grew into retirement and enjoyed her life surrounded by her family and friends.
